Sometimes one may ask himself that,
-why should I date?
-Is it that necessary for me to date him/her before I marry him/her
-and what will i gain if i date?
-can i choose to marry him without passing through the process of dating?

Marriage is a life time commitment and it is sacred - i think the earlier our generation start seeing it as this the better for society and all those children who suffer because of broken homes. It is better we DATE and know the person very well before it ends up in marriage - rather than to take a vow before God and then break it later just because you find out after 5yrs - he is not the man you thought he was and you can't change him!! date honestly and openly and it should be to both your benefits

Dating helps you discover yourself as a man or woman; how you can be rational, wise and even foolish. Dating is a stage in life we have to pass through because we need to discover ourselves and what type of person that most fits you.
Like they say, education is important, but education is advancing everyday because its yet to touch every aspect of life. So where can you learn the untaught? we still get education from family, society, friends, peers and mostly dating.

1. It helps you to know the person you are going to spend your life with.
Some marriages end up in divorce just because they found out that the partner is not the same as they think he/she was after being married.
There are many people out there that pretend to be nice the first time they meet any girl or guy and would like to marry.
So for such people, if you don't date them, you might not know the real behavior of that person before you go into marriage. And lately, you will regret falling in love with the other partner.
So in short we need to date so that we will know whether our partner is the person we want to spent our whole life with.
2. It also helps couple to know each other's strength and weaknesses, fight against weaknesses and improve upon their strength.
3. It also helps one to identify some problems of the partner and find possible solutions to solve that problems before ending up in marriage
