What is really the meaning of the word "dating"?

Dating is a part of the human mating process whereby two people meet socially for companionship, beyond the level of friendship, or with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as a partner in an intimate relationship or marriage.
It can be a form of courtship consisting of social activities done by the couple. While the term has several meanings, it usually refers to the act of meeting and engaging in some mutually agreed upon social activity in public, together, as a couple.

2. If a guy meets a girl or a girl meets a guy and after a couple of ‘hang outs’ they realise they have some chemistry and decide to go into a relationship then it can also be referred to as dating.

3. Dating can also be referred to as two people in an intimate relationship.

Dating has a lot of meanings in this world but each meaning has a particular idea about getting into a relationship.

What is a christian dating?

Many people think that it is not relevant for a christian to date just because that may go against their faith or the relationship they have with God. Do you know why?. It is because the motive of modern dating is just to have fun and to fulfill certain desires but with no goal of ending up in marriage. But you can prove them  wrong, a christian can date without having any consequences against his/ her relationship with God.
So when we talk about Christian dating, is all about dating in accordance with the word of God or it can also be defined as having a relationship that will bring no consequences unto one's christian life.

How old do I have to be to date?

There is no exact age when you can or cannot start dating. Many parents set an age according to their perspective, culture, views and beliefs. Consider talking to your parents, family and friends to see what their thoughts are. If you think that talking to your parents might be hard, start with your friends or other adults you trust. Ultimately, what matters is that you personally feel ready and confident to make this decision. And also before you will start dating, make sure you can take care of your own self.

Why must I date?

The ultimate purpose of dating is to get into a happy and successful marriage. If you are sure that you are not going to marry that girl or boy then why must you date him/her. There will surely be a broke relationship which is not good enough for the heart. So the purpose of dating is to marry.
